Registering the attendees

Dr. Steve Kirtland, Chapter President, Chapter President  opens the meeting 

Dr. James Holm, Past President of the UHMS-Pacific Chapter (2005) moderated the morning session.

 Dr. Richard Moon gave the meeting's first lecture entitled "Air in Blood Vessels: Evidence-Based Diagnosis and Treatment" , in combination with VMMC Grand Rounds

                      

Dr. J. Benjamin Slade, Past President (2000) of the Chapter presented "Hyperbaric Oxygen and wound healing"

 Claude Wreford-Brown presented Oxygen Toxicity Seizures. What's Shakin' in Rain City?

Dr. Neil Hampson presented "Cherry-red and Sleepless in Seattle for 20 Years" 

Steve Hardy gave out the raffle prizes.

       
                    

Friday Afternoon

Dr. Steve Kirtland, Chapter President moderated the afternoon session Dr. Doug Backous makes a point during his lecture on "Otic Barotrauma" John Corman, MD presented "Hemorrhagic Cystitis Past and Present, The Virginia Mason Experience" Dr. Edmond Kay (Past President 1995)explained the intricacies of the medical aspects of "Deep Hyperbaric Tunneling" 
                      

Dr. Enoch Huang is congratulated by Chapter Steve Kirtland on being elected Chapter Secretary for the upcoming year. Enoch will be Chapter President for the 2012 meeting.

Steve Kirtland Moderated the evening .Dr. Neil Hampson is awarded the Borema award by Dr. Stuart Miller for his work in Hyperbaric Medicine  Dr. Steve Kirtland presents the Merrill P. Spencer lifetime achievement award to his friend and mentor Dr. Neil Hampson. Dr. Hampson addresses the banquet attendees

Saturday Morning 

Chapter President Steve Kirtland opens "Diver Day" Chapter President Elect Dr. Stuart Miller moderated the morning session Dr. Neil Hampson introduced his long time friend,  Dr. Richard Moon and presented him with a gift of appreciation Dr. Richard Moon discussed "Fitness to Dive".
                      
Richard Dunford, past President (1988) and Past Executive Director (1989-2001) of the chapter presented "Fatalities in Recreational Diving" Dr. Steve Kirtland and  Claude Wreford-Brown presented Dr. Neil Hampson with a gift The clam digger will be used for Dr. Hampson's latest project, "Studying the Mating Behavior of Geoduck Clams in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Environment", funded by the stimulus package. Dr. Robert Perkins discussed "Research 101: How To Be A Savvy Science Consumer"
                      
Dr. Jim Holm lectured on "Who is in the Chamber when a Diver is Not" Dr. Matthew Berry gave a brief presentation on judging images. The photography contest followed, where attendees voted on the images Dr. Kirtland and Steve Hardy do a raffle drawing following a break 1st Place "Shrimp on an Anemone" Stuart Miller
