Friday Afternoon

Dr. Jim Holm, Chapter President moderated the afternoon session. Dr David Cobb makes a point discussing "Current Management of the Bacterial Burden in Wound Management” Dr. Neil Hampson presented the timely topic of "Storm-Related Carbon Monoxide Poisoning" Dr. George Hart, a legend in Hyperbaric Medicine lectured on “Non-Diving Related Arterial Gas Embolism”
                      

In Dr. Hampson's 2nd presentation of the day, he shares the saga of "Design and Installation of the New Virginia Mason Center for Hyperbaric Medicine"

Dick Sample is Elected Chapter Secretary for the year 2005 - 2006, and will be Chapter President in 2008

Banquet & Awards

Chapter President Dr. James Holm is emcee for the evening Dr George Hart gives the annual Benhke Memorial Lecture on the History of Monoplace Chambers for Clinical HBO Dr. Holm presents Dr. Hart with an award in appreciation of his presentations & contributions to the Pacific Chapter UHMS Dr. Holm presents Dick Clarke with an award in appreciation for his long time support of the Pacific Chapter UHMS 
                      
    Dr. James Holm presents Dr. Matthew Berry, Chapter Executive Director with an award for his service to the chapter.  Dr. James Holm presents Chapter Secretary Dr. Ralph Potkin an award for his service to the chapter.         Dr. James Holm, chapter President "passes the gavel" to Dr. Lorre Henderson, Chapter Vice President and presents him with an award for his service to the chapter.        Dr. James Holm presents the Merrill Spencer lifetime achievement award to his friend & mentor Dr. John Alexander 
                           
    Dr. Alexander accepts the Merrill Spencer award. This prestigious award is for Significant Contributions to the Advancement of Undersea  Science & Hyperbaric Medicine  Dr. Alexander gives a light-hearted presentation of the group at the Northridge HBO Chamber he founded.   Dr. Matthew Berry, Chapter Executive Director presents Dr. James Holm with an award for his tireless work in putting on an outstanding meeting.

Kristen Christensen, RN and Patti Loper, RN register the attendees for "Diver Day" Chapter President Dr. James Holm opens "Diver Day" Dr. Matthew Berry was the moderator for the morning session Dr. Lorre Henderson discussed the  diving problem of "Ear Equalization Problems & the Eustachian Tube”
