Friday Morning


	Ron Bangasser, Chapter President opens the meeting	Jim Holmes, President & CEO Redlands Memorial Hospital, co-host of the meeting addresses the attendees	Dr. Matthew Berry moderated the morning session


Robert Warriner gives the first lecture on Oxygen in Wound Healing	Brad Bailey speaks on the Role of HBO in Sports Medicine	Dick Clark presented a short history of saturation diving	Tom Workman described the UHMS Facility Accreditation Program



	Friday Afternoon


Dr. Jim Holm, Chapter President-Elect moderated the afternoon session and lectured on Hydrogen Sulfide Poisoning and HBO	Gerit Mulder, DPM spoke on Angiogenesis and Growth Factor Techniques	Michael Strauss lectured on the Surgical Management of the Problem Diabetic Foot	David Harrison spoke presented data on Potential Missed Cerebral Gas Embolism


Dr. Ron Bangasser discussed Clinical Outcomes in Osteomyelitis Cases	Dr.'s Nicola Bugelli and Tom Millington combined efforts on Autologous Platelet-Derived Growth Factors & HBO	Joel Dovenbarger of Divers Alert Network presented Diving Injuries and Case Histories	Neil Hampson, past President of the UHMS spoke on the Impact of Practice-Based Clinical Research on Public Health

	Friday Evening
	Banquet & Awards


Chapter President Dr. Ron Bangasser moderates the evening	Dr. Ron Bangasser presents the Merrill Spencer lifetime achievement award to Dr. Tom Neuman. Among Dr. Neuman's many accomplishments are pioneering work on Diving Medicine and Diving Physiology.	Internationally renown photographer Marty Snyderman was the Keynote speaker. He presented a special lecture on Sharks and their behavior.	Dr. Ron Bangasser presents an award in abstentia to Jim Holmes, President & CEO of Redlands Memorial Hospital for co-sponsoring the meeting.


Dr. Ron Bangasser presents Dr. Michael Lewpasky, Chapter Executive Director 2002-2004 with an award for his service to the chapter.	Dr. Ron Bangasser presents Chapter Treasurer and Past President Dr. Matthew Berry with an award for his service to the chapter.	Dr. Ron Bangasser presents Dr. Lorre Henderson, Chapter Secretary with an award for his service to the chapter.	Dr. Ron Bangasser presents Dr. Jim Holm, Chapter President-Elect with an award for his service to the Chapter.

Dr. Tom Neuman accepts the Merrill Spencer Lifetime Achievement Award. Saturday Morning


Dr. Matthew Berry spoke on Marine Life Hazards and moderated the morning session	Joel Dovenbarger of DAN discussed Evaluating Divers in the Field	Dr. Lorre Henderson, Chapter Secretary lectured on Ear Problems in Diving	Dr. Lin Weaver, UHMS President spoke on Diving Emergencies, AGE and DCS

Saturday Afternoon


Chapter Secretary Lorre Henderson moderates the closing session	Jeff Bozanic discussed Technical Diving Issues	Dr. Michael Strauss spoke on Diving Tables vs. Computers	Dr. Susan Bangasser spoke on Women in Diving


Dr. Ralph Potkin discussed Medical Problems in Advanced Breath-Hold Divers	In her second lecture of the day, Dr. Susan Bangasser tackled the controversial issue of the Younger Scuba Diver	Dr. Michael Lewpasky, Chapter Executive Director gives the sessions final lecture, discussing Tear Film Bubbles in Breath-Hold Divers	Dr. Ron Bangasser Closes the 2004 UHMS-Pacific Chapter Meeting


The Gavel is Passed, as outgoing President hands the reigns over to 2004-2005 President Jim Holm.	Newly elected Chapter Secretary Dr. Ralph Potkin is congratulated by Chapter President Dr. Ron Bangasser.	Lively Q&A followed several of the lectures	Dr. Henderson helps Dr. Bangasser set up her talk.
