Chapter President Steve Duffy moderates the evening Dr. Michael Lewpasky presents the Merril Spencer lifetime achievement award to Dr. Derek J. Kidd.  Dr. Kidd pioneered work on models for decompression illness and dive tables.  Chapter President-elect Ron Bangasser presents Steve Duffy with a gift in appreciation for his outstanding work as Chapter President Keynote speaker Jay Straith lectured on scuttling vessels and British Columbia's artificial reef program.
