Steven Duffy, Chapter President Elect Moderated the afternoon session.	Dr. Michael Lieber discussed "Treatment of Spinal Cord Decompression Illness"	Dr. Paul Cianci, recipient of the 2001 Merrill Spencer Lifetime Achievement Award gives the annual Benhke Memorial Lecture	Dr. George Hart lectures on "Radiation Necrosis Revisited".


Dr. Jim Holm, Chapter Secretary 2002 speaks on "Pulmonary Edema in Divers"	Richard Dunford, Chapter Executive Director - "Treatment of C.A.G.E. in Divers with table 6A in the U.S."	Dr. Michael Strauss presented a day long poster session

	Friday Evening
	Banquet & Awards

Dr. Peter Bennett presents his longtime friend and colleague Dr. Paul Cianci with the Merrill Spencer Lifetime Achievement Award for Significant Contributions to the Advancement of Undersea Science & Hyperbaric Medicine		Richard Dunford is given an award for his outstanding work for the Chapter. Richard stepped down after 12 years as the Chapter Executive Director. Richard has been the backbone of the chapter and an invaluable help to the chapter presidents over the years. He will be sorely missed.	"Better late then never" -- Left to Right- Past Presidents Dr. Ben Slade (2000) & Dr. Tabby Stone (1999) are presented awards by Dr. Matthew Berry for their outstanding work as past presidents.



	Saturday Session Hosted by the UNLV Biology Department


Dr. Ron Bangasser, President-Elect 2003 moderates	Dr. Peter Bennett, founder of DAN opened the day with a lecture on "Decompression Theory and Ascent Rates"	Dr. Jim Caruso discussed "Fitness to Dive"	Dr. Maida Taylor lectures on "Psychological Fitness to Dive"


Dr. Lorre Henderson closed themorning session with his talk on - "Eustachian Tube Problems & Treatment Options"	President-Elect Steve Duffy Moderates the Afternoon Session	Dr. Peter Bennett, started the afternoon session with a lecture on "Nitrogen Narcosis, HPNS/Deep Diving & Oxygen Toxicity"	Dr. Maida Taylor chats with Cindy Easterling of DAN prior to Dr. Taylor's talk - Murphy’s Ten Laws of Diving Accidents"


Dr. Tabby Stone, past Chapter President (1999) - "Medical Aspects of Dive Travel"	"Dr. Gary Becker making a point during his talk - "Ears and Sinuses - An Owners Manual for Divers"	To err is human, to really foul things up requires a computer". Dr. Ralph Potkin gets technical support from Dr. Taylor in setting up his talk - "Outcomes of Asthmatics Cleared to Dive"	Ed Kelly eulogizes Jon Hardy, a respected member of the diving community who recently passed away.
