2012 Conference Information
The Pacific Chapter of the Undersea
& Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) will hold it's Annual Scientific
Conference on Thursday, October 18 thru Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Portland,
Oregon.
Thursday, October 18th will be a pre-course on Wound Care. Friday October
19th will concentrate on Undersea Medicine, and Saturday October 20th will
concentrate on hyperbaric Medicine .
Topics will be of interest to all types of professionals in the
hyperbaric field.

Banquet will be held in the Crystal Ballroom of the Benson Hotel

A limited number of rooms has been contracted
for conference attendees with the Benson Hotel for a special rate
of $148 per night.
The rate is available until
Wednesday, September 26, 2012. After this date, rooms
will be available on a space available basis. To obtain the special room
rate, you must identify yourself as attending the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical
Society (UHMS) Meeting, rate code BEN-GF1996 .
The rate is subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.5%) in
effect at the time of check in. Reservations may be made online (via the internet) or by phone. |
Hotel Parking: Discounted Hotel Valet Parking at
$27.00 per night with unlimited in and out privileges.
Those who are not staying at the hotel can park in the hotel parking lot
for $5.00 per hour and a maximum charge of $29 per day. |

Follow Airport Way to I-205 South. Take I-205 South to I-84 West. From
I-84 West, take exit 300B Oregon City/OMSI. Bear right to the Morrison

Morrison Bridge. Turn right on SW Fourth Avenue. Turn left on SW Davis
Street. Turn left on SW Broadway. Cross SW Oak. The Benson Hotel is on

Follow US 26 East/Sunset Highway to the City Center Exit. Follow Market
Street to SW 10th Avenue. Turn right on W Burnside Street. Turn Right on

(from Seattle)
Follow I-5 South. Take the 302A/Rose Quarter Exit. Turn right on
Broadway Avenue and continue over the Broadway Bridge. Continue on
Broadway Avenue, which becomes NW Broadway, then SW Broadway. Cross SW
Oak. The Benson Hotel is on your right. |

Follow I-5 North to I-405 North. Stay in the left-hand lane (bypassing
I-405) and take the 1A/Naito Park Way Exit. Follow the signs to Naito
Park Way. Cross SW Clay Street. Turn right on SW 10th Avenue. Turn right
on W Burnside Street. Turn Right on SW Broadway. Cross SW Oak. The
