2010 Conference Information
The Pacific Chapter of the Undersea
& Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) will hold it's Annual Scientific
Conference on Friday, October 15 through Sunday October 17, 2010 in
Long Beach, CA

A limited number of rooms has been contracted
for conference attendees with the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Long Beach for a special rate
of $129 per night.
The group rate includes free internet the guest room, and a 50% discount off the
regular self-parking rates.
The rate is available until
Thursday, September 23, 2010. After this date, rooms
will be available on a space available basis. To obtain the special room
rate, you must identify yourself as attending the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical
Society (UHMS) Meeting.
The rate is subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 15.1%) in

Take the San Diego Freeway (405) South to the Long
Beach Freeway (710) South toward Long Beach. At the Freeway split, take
the LEFT LANES for Downtown Long Beach/Convention Center. Stay on
Shoreline Drive, (DO NOT TAKE Broadway/Civic Center/Pine Avenue exit)
follow the signs to: Aquarium/Convention Center/ Pine Avenue. TURN LEFT
on Pine Avenue (4th stop light). The hotel is on the corner of Shoreline

Accreditation Statement - This activity has been planned and

the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
through the joint sponsorship of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical
Society (UHMS) and the UHMS Pacific Chapter. The UHMS is
accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for
physicians. |

Physician
CME - Designation
Statement - The UHMS designates this educational activity for a
maximum of 16.5 category 1 credits towards the AMA
Physician's Recognition Award. Each Physician should claim
only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Nursing CEU - 16.5 RN CEU
will be given as Physician Category 1 Credits.

has been reviewed and acceptable for 16.5 Category A credit
hours by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical
