          2006 Conference Information

 The Pacific Chapter of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) will hold it's Annual Scientific Conference on Friday, September 15, 2006 & Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Oakland, CA

Friday, September 15th will be a combination of new research presentations and reviews in both diving and
clinical hyperbaric medicine. Topics will be of interest to all types of professionals in the hyperbaric field.

Saturday, September 16th will be "Diver Day" Seminar. These presentations will be of interest to medical

& hyperbaric professionals, as well as recreational, commercial & scientific divers.

 The conference site will be the Waterfront Plaza Hotel in Jack London Square, Oakland, California

The Waterfront Plaza Hotel is located 15 miles (20minutes) from Oakland International Airport (OAK) and 25 miles (40 minutes)  from San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

 
A special room rate has been contracted with the Waterfront Plaza Hotel for conference attendees.  To  obtain the special room rate, you must identify yourself as attending the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Meeting. 
Conference Rates: City side king or queen $155/night single or double occupancy
Water view side king or queen $165/night single or double occupancy

 Attendees arriving up to 3 days prior to or departing up to 3 days later than the meeting dates will be extended the special rate on a space available basis.  Parking is $20 per night.

Registration fee includes beverages and light snacks during breaks.  Friday registration includes lunch. 

LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED SATURDAY

     
Participants may obtain CME/CEU credit through the UHMS, the BNA or the NDBHMT.
