2006 Conference Information

 The Pacific Chapter of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) will hold it's Annual Scientific Conference on Friday, September 15, 2006 & Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Oakland, CA

Friday, September 15th will be a combination of new research presentations and reviews in both diving and
clinical hyperbaric medicine. Topics will be of interest to all types of professionals in the hyperbaric field.

Saturday, September 16th will be "Diver Day" Seminar. These presentations will be of interest to medical

& hyperbaric professionals, as well as recreational, commercial & scientific divers.

The Wyndham Hotel, Colorado Springs is located 15 miles (20-30 minutes) from Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (COS) and 80 miles (90 minutes)  from Denver International Airport (DEN)

A special room rate has been contracted with the Wyndham Hotel for conference attendees.  To  obtain the special room rate, you must identify yourself as attending the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Meeting. 
Conference Rates: September 22-25, 2005 $89 per night, single or double occupancy.  There is no charge for parking.

 Attendees arriving up to 3 days prior to or departing up to 3 days later than the meeting dates will be extended the special rate on a space available basis.

Registration fee includes beverages and light snacks during breaks.  Friday registration includes lunch.

Participants may obtain CME/CEU credit through the UHMS, the BNA or the NDBHMT.
The NBDHMT Exam has been cancelled.  The NBDHMT is located in Harvey, Louisiana on the West Bank of the Mississippi River, adjacent to New Orleans.  The area was devastated by Hurricane Katrina.  The NBDHMT has a long relationship with both the UHMS and the UHMS-Pacific Chapter.   Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the area.  The NBDHMT web site (www.nbdhmt.org) is being updated from out of the area and will keep you posted on their progress on re-opening, as well as the rescheduling of upcoming exams.
